So i just experianced the stall!

We were on the highway for about 15 miles at a consistant 70mph...
Passed a truck...
Went down an off ramp...
Motor went DEAD...
1160 miles on the truck...
32 degrees F...
20 mins after a fuel up...

What's the latest on this?

Thanks,

Was fixed a long time ago with a software upgrade. You should be fine.

Haven't had the "stall" per se since the related software upgrade/fuel tank replaced last year. However, about 3 weeks ago, I was down in Oregon and had just filled up with gas (92 oct) and went back to the hotel and parked it for the night. When I went to start it the next morning, it started fine but there was almost no acceleration. Pushed the accelerator to the floor and managed about 3 mph and got an engine fault light. Rebooted and it was gone and hasn't come back..... dunno.

dawg, that's a wierd one...hope it never returns.

The stall was most certainly due to the fuel tank issues. I don't think the software update had anything to do with an actual fix. If anything, it was an early LR attempt at fixing the symptom before they ever really knew what the problem was.
