For the past few months there have been moments when she didn't feel like starting without a bit of pedal to get her started. During these times she would run a but rugged for a few seconds, then kick in. I might even feel a hesitation when first starting out, then all would be well. After warming up, she runs wonderfully. Last night, however, I went to start her and all I got was cranking, no fire. There was spark. I was, unfortunately, parked illegally in front of a noisy pub and could't do too much diagnostic work. I had her towed home and the next morning I expected to change the fuel pump. Unfortunately the fuel pump and relay were working fine and it started and ran great. I am now waiting for it to not run so I can figure out what's wrong. Anyone have any ideas in the meantime?

Yes, seriously, if you expect help here, get responsible as hell and do your part so we can help you. Don't come with a smart ass attitude just cause some one called you on your short comings.
I probably know Disco's better then anyone on this site and I got to tell you, information like it is green and you haven't even been responsible enough to go get the codes read before posting won't get you far on this or any other Rover forum.
You want to try over?

Could be a loose ignition wire somewhere or a little water in the gas? If it gets by the rough spot and runs wonderfully I wouldn't think a tune up would have a lot to do with it. Something loose could perform flawlessly for a while then get bumped a little to mess with thre connection and cause it to run poorly.
