specification on fuel to be used in the LR3

Dear LR3 owners , seek advised on fuel usage
Just secure a LR3 need some advise on fuel usage as we are located in China where only Grade 93 or Grade 97 is available ? which is suitable , Advise appreciated .

It depends on how they create their octane rating. The rating for the LR3 in US octane would be about 92 which is (R+M)/2. A purely RON rating (most likely what you are seeing on the pumps there in China) would be around 97.

low octane here in dr will have to you octane boost

Forgive my ignorance - "dr" is this a country code or a city reference? I first thought Denver, but lower octane is ok at higher elevations. Then maybe Denmark, but why low octane there. I Must know.

How about Dominican Republic? I've heard "DR" as a short form in the past, and as I recall high octane gas isn't readily available....

that is correct DR santo domingo, dominican republic no hight octane over here I use tolueno to boost octane in the fuel as an additive

You have an LR3 in the DR? What do you do when you have an error code, a sensor goes or you need a software update? Wow. That can't be convenient....BUT, I bet you have some sweet trails to explore out there, Lfr.

there is a LR dealer here and also like 3 other shops that fix LR, yes many trails

the dealer here mostly brings d3 from GB diesel
