I've had mine on since my brake conversion to fit 17s since 2017 and the SS brake lines have been good to me. BTW, here are the part numbers for Stoptech SS brake lines, Front: 950.22000 Rear: 950.22500.

It's a direct bolt-on. Super easy to fit and just make sure you bleed your brake system and have some Pentosin Dot4 LV handy. I ended up using 2 bottles since my old lines were dirty. Bleed furthest away from the master brake cylinder and work your way to the closest.

I have the Terrafirma kits from Lucky8. The quality of the kits is very good and comes with all new hardware for mounting. My stock brake lines weren’t leaking, but definitely had some dry rot and cracking that I didn’t notice until taking them off.

You didn't do the rear inner? Or does the stop tech kit come with both inner and outer?
The rear comes in a kit with both inner/outer ss lines and hardware, full replacement to all rubber lines. The front is single ss line per side with hardware in its kit. Again, I did mine back in 2017 if I remember correctly.

does anyone make these for our LR4s? i've searched with no success.

@ttforcefed

Funny enough, I had written a thread about this subject a long time ago:

https://www.landroverworld.org/threads/lr4-stainless-steel-brake-lines.23521/

That is the story of the LR3 stoptech brake lines I installed back in 2012-13 (may have been the first, and certainly the first on this forum).

I am presently rebuilding my truck, to include brake lines and all, now using the Terra Firma stainless steel brake kit (mine from Atlantic British).

I will have some lessons learned from this latest build (ongoing), so I will post them to my old thread about the LR4 Stainless Steel Brake lines (I will reference this thread in my update, however).

For those interested, as noted, the LR3 Stoptech Brake Lines worked fine (just need a little routing because they were oversized, as are the Terra Firma lines). While the plastic outer linings have yellowed with age and they are just a little beat up, the Stoptech lines were in much better shape than I expected after 10+ years of off-road, highway, and everything in between driving. In fact, they may be better (except mine did not come with both inner and outer for the rear lines) since I need to get some steel brackets custom fabricated to get the Terra Firma lines to route properly over / under suspensions and wheels.

@avslash ,

Do you have any thoughts from your build?
