CAN A STARTER HAVE ALL ITS TEETH AND STILL BE GOOD, HAVE A GRIND SOUND ONCE IN AWHILE WHEN I START THE ENGINE. I WAS TOLD THE FLYWHEEL WAS BAD, HAD IT REPLACED STILL GRINDS. THEY TOLD ME THE STARTER IS FINE????????????????????????????????????????:frown: 97 DISCO SD7

Could be a bad starter, remember it has gears too.

Not sure off the top of my head... Just normally look, grab correct tool and work. Sometimes I miss a size or two, but only when I have a headache :biggrin:

Buy a set you will need them later, that is my way of thinking.

Starter Replaced........good To Go............simple Job..............just Need Alot Of Extensions.....3/8 Inch Hex Drive And A Impact Wrench......a New Start 4 A Disco Sd7 97'
