Well I got the car back this weekend. The dealer ended up replacing the battery AND a new compressor. I forgot to mention that my HDC warning dad also been popping on. Anyway, dealer says it was a combination of the 2 issues. I'm not complaining, since it seems to be riding great now. They also replaced all rotors and brake pads while they had it as well as the 45000 service. The brakes came out to $1217.00. I'm gonna gets my wife's LR3 in for brakes next month. Thanks to all.
You should really considering NOT taking your wifes LR3 in for brakes. If you mildly take some initiative, you can get the same stock brake parts and sensors for about 250 and installed for about 150 at any local brake shop. I just ordered my parts here (http://www.roverparts.com/ProductList.cfm?Vehicle=LR3&PerPage=20&Category=BRAKES) and took them to my local auto shop where the guy installed them perfectly for 125 of labor. All said and done, stock LR parts brand new brake job for $375. If you need rotors, buy the kit for 389 that includes rotors, pads, sensors... the whole 9.
