testbook connector

So I ordered a copy of the testbook software along with the Rave CD. But I'm not sure what to use to connect the laptop to the disco. Anyone done this? I was going to just buy a standard obdii connector cable but not sure if it would work. I'm pretty sure it would but don't want to spend the money if someone has already tried it and failed. Anyone anyone? Bueller bueller?

Testbook? As in the $10,000 computer? Or did you get get the $1500 black box version? If so, then I would hope you got a manual with it.

I got the testbook lite laptop version. I am considering the blackbox. If there were more people around me with rovers Iwould buy it.
