Transmission Repair

Could use some help. I want to bring my '98 Disco in to have the tranny fluid replaced, and also have the differential fluids replaced. I also would like the linkage checked for the 4wd. I have a non-dealer mechanic that works on Land Rovers only, but he recently moved to another town. I would like to be able to drop my vehicle off somewhere local. Has anybody had any experiences with Aamco or Lee Miles. I would appreciate any feedback, good or bad.

Transmission fluid replacement on a '98 can be done by just about anyone (I wouldn't have them change the pan gasket or filter unless you buy it and bring it it)

Diff fluids can be changed very easily I did mine in about 20 minutes. What is wrong with the hi/lo lock/unlock linkage.... remember it is an item on the LR that must be used or at lease moved around 10 or so times a year or it will freeze up.

Personally I wouldn't take anything to Aamco, but that is me. I would rather do the work myself, but normally they should be able to handle this job.
