The turnsignals and 4-way flashers on my '00 D2 are acting up!

Sometimes they work . . . most times they don't!

All bulbs are good; all fuses are good

What happens is this, I turn the signal on and the dash indicator light flashes once (maybe) then nothing!!!

Either side or 4-ways work (or NOT) the same way.

Could this be a flasher problem? Or maybe the turnsignal switch on the steering column?

I'm baffled!!!

Anyone ever have this Gremlin . . . and resolve it?????????

If the 4 ways don't work either than not a switch issue but probably a bad flasher unit.

I found it ! ! !

The problem was in the right front turnsignal socket. The wiring harness plug socket had apparently self-destructed some time ago, and one of the leads backed out of what was left of the molded plug. It was intermittent for a while, and then just quit completely.

Of course the right front was the last socket I checked!!!

At any rate . . .problem solved!

Sounds like the turn signal switch. Happened to me in 2006. I had to change it with the windshield washer switch for a total of $1200 at the dealer. DO NOT GO TO THEM!!! Get the RAVE manual, and order parts from Atlantic British, or someplace comparable online, then do it yourself.
