U.P. Trails?

The regional forums don't get much use so thought I would post here. Heading up to the Porcupine Mountains this weekend for a 3 night camping trip. Anyone here know of any good trails or forest roads in the area that I should check out?

I spend lots of times in the Porkies. Just got back from an 8 night stay. If you are at the state park, get a site right on the beach. You will find plenty of roads to go on. Make sure you take the South Boundary road from Union Bay down to Presque Isle River. Check out the falls, etc. Along this road there are some off shoots to take.

Thanks Schafari...we're actually going to be camping at Presque Isle so doing the river hike is definitely on our list.

Great place to camp. They have a generators allowed and not allowed area. The sites along the cliff down to LS are the best. The far left corner on LS as you drive in is our favorite.
