Updating 2005 Navigation Disc???

I am interested in updating the navigation in my 2005 LR3. Does a newer disc have a different look at all on the navigation screen or is there any difference.?? Also, how and where do I install a new disc???

New map discs just update your data on the computer. Meaning, the newer disc adds more streets, restaurants, POIs, etc. The discs really don't change the look of the GUI, unless you update to the 2010 DVD.

The DVD drive is located below the driver's seat. You pull the seat all the way forward and up and you can put your hand inside. You slide the slider to unlock and then hit the eject button. Pretty simple.
