What are these and should I be concerned that 1 is broken? Engine mount base plate?

See pics. Found while I spend hours under the Landy for transmission service. Appears to be bottom of engine mount? Passenger is broken and driver is pristine. I have done a LOT of damage to the underside of many vehicles but there appears to be no obvious path to this being smashed on this otherwise pristine LR4. Nothing can possibly reach it.

So I have discovered that these are the engine mounts but no info I can find as to whether it matters. I guess I'll let you know!

It i there to collect any fluid that leaks out of the mount.
As far as why it is damaged, no idea.
