What to look for when buying a Freelander?

I've found a 04' Freelander SE with 29k on it. I'm probably going up to look at it on Saturday.

Just curious what all I should be looking at when I go considering the cars age to mileage ratio and anything else considering. I do love rovers and the chance to own a low mileage one and join the community is mighty tempting.

When it comes to freelanders, if it isn't a diesel then don't buy it.
