What's new for 2008?

Tex, I have that vehicle. My LR3 is a base model and it has pleather seats that feel pretty good and wear very well. I also have coil springs instead of air suspension.

phelme, use search and you'll probably get the history. Some non-standard configs made it into the states and were offered to a few dealers for sale.

Gromment, as always, is correct.

There are 27 coil sprung LR3's here in the US, with various trim levels. LRNA did not intend to order them, so they mostly gave them to internal folks and special dealers. My truck went to PAG (LRNA's parent company under Ford), as part of PAG's Special Projects vehicles. It was a test bed for alternative paint schemes, interior & exterior. Then it ultimately went to my dealers lot where I snagged it.
