From reading through many, many threads, I get the impression that the Cooper LTZ's (285/60/18) are the right tire for me. I've read the Cooper's are only available at Discount Tire - does that mean the physical store? They don't seem to be available online. I did find them at tires-easy.com ($710 with shipping). Anyone ever deal with this outfit?

Thanks!

You can buy them anywhere you can buy Coopers, they just may not stock them as they are supposed to be a Discount Tire exclusive. My local mom and pop shop was able to just put an order in with the Cooper rep and he got them 24 hours later.

I believe the exclusivity agreement between Cooper and Discount / America's Tire for the Zeon LTZs expired quite a while ago. They still can get the 18s there, but you'll have to call them as they are no longer available for ordering through their web store. At least here in L.A., the only Zeon LTZs you can order online from Discount Tire are odd 20" sizes. Go figure.
