Where's the cold air?

Okay so i live in texas and the summer heat is on its way. The other day i pressed my A/C button in my 99 RR, and the light flashes at me and i dont feel any cold air. Is there a problem with my compresser or am i just doing something wrong?

Sounds like it is low on R134a, if you have a tester, check the level, if you don't have one, go by your local auto parts store or even walmart and get a gauge tester and a can or 2 or R134a and check/fill the system.

Which light flashes at you? If it is the one above the A/C OFF button you have manually turned the compressor off ie. economy mode - no A/C.

For A/C the light above the A/C OFF button needs to be off.
