I searched for threads on whines and couldn't find any mention of this problem. Thought I would see if it is something I should have the dealer check or just solve by turning up the tunes.
At around 50 mph with the engine maintaining constant speed on level ground, I pick up a noticeable whine. The whine is not a whistle from airflow because it stops the instant I left off the accerlerator. It also goes away under when I accelerate. I am not sure if it is getting worse or I just listen for it more. It is not loud - I can't hear it over the stereo - but it is there and distinct.
Is this something others have experienced? Is it something I should have checked, or should I just turn up the tunes and not sweat it?
