My 2012's was sun-damaged and tried that Forever Black stuff but it ended up washing off in a month. Grabbed the part for about $80 + shipping and found this vid

(LR3 apparently has the same part). Right wiper arm was seized to the post but some WD-40 rust release, 10 minute wait and a rubber mallet did the trick.

*Unrelated - if anyone knows how I can reset my emissions tests for I/M readiness (failed inspection), that'd be helpful

Another ridiculous maintenance part courtesy of Land Rover. Well done.

FYI, i used this product on all the black trim on my LR4, worked great. no sign of washing off in the past 6 months.

also, i recently sealed my cowl to the windshield.. gently pried up the leading edge of the cowl, slide a 1/8" diameter of butyl rope sealant down the entire length and pressed it down, making sure the sealant didn't come out onto the windshield. 20 minutes and reassurance that it wont leak. this sealant never hardens and it will allow expansion. it could be removed if needed, but chances are i would just buy a new cowl for $80 if i need to replace the windshield.

Looks like some good stuff. Im thinking the butyl will be a good solution to the whistling A Pilar trims as well.

Looks great and my truck suffers the same. What's your source at $80? I searched but everything I saw was twice that amount.
