Does anyone know anything about extended fuel tanks? Where do they put them?

they sell those kit made for Lr3, not sure for lr4 yet....you can find them on ebay, but they are over in Australia ...

I'm already starting to agree with the jist of this thread. Fueling the car will just have to be something I get used to I guess.

Loving this thing though.

Why does LR website say "18.9 gallon usable fuel tank capacity" thats a far cry from 22....

That makes sense. I was thinking "usable" referred to before low fuel light comes on since many seem to fillnwith around 19 gallons after the ligght comes on?

How many miles are you guys getting out of a tank? I'm moving over from a Nissan Xterra, and I could get 270 miles in mostly city driving on one tank. The Nissan tank is smaller, and it's MPG only slightly higher. I'm really hoping that I can get at least that 270 out of tank in the LR4 with mostly city driving.
