My drivers seat has become quite squeeky. I don't even have to move around much and it squeeks. The passenger seat is fine. The dealer didn't seem to know how to fix this. Does anyone else have this issue?

For the record, I only weigh 110 llbs, so I'm guessing it's not due to excessive weight....

Does it squeak when you're not sitting in it? That might be the solution right there.

Hey waltzonice,

I had the same problem a couple months ago and started a thread about the topic. The dealership is pretty useless with this topic, as they always say, "sound cannot be recreated". I still have some squeaking, but it's pretty much subsided. I know some folks have used felt to add some cushion to wherever you find the squeak. I found mine was coming from the connection between the back of the seat and the cushion itself and stopped when I stuffed a little fabric to provide a bit of cushion.

Either way, it's really annoying. Let me know if you find a solution.

have the same problem, dealership tried to fix by tightening the seat bolts which was not the problem. sound comes from the springs/cushion.

Hello ycharlie,

I agree completely - the sound comes from the spring/cushion used. I think it's more the spring system. I know other people have said that it subsides eventually. Must be as the springs wear in a bit.
