Here are some recent pics with everything installed. Should have some more good shots after I take it out to Moab in a couple weeks!
HI ndrenfro,

Man, that truck is BEAUTIFUL. I LOVE the winch and swing-away spare tire carrier. I am in awe.................

ndrenfro - that looks fantastic! Can you share more photos of the rear tire carrier and how difficult it was to install? Is it heavy? Just about the place the order for the bajarack, how do you like yours?

Hey LR4TQ,

I also looked into the Baja Rack for the LR4, but was told you needed the short roof rails to install it. I was hoping it just bolted into the stock holes as do the Voyager racks.

cool truck, but shows the one downside of going with 18" wheels, tire won't fit in spare tire location, the 19" scorpion, goodyear mtr or zeons will....

my 18s does fit in the spare tire location mainly because i am using 255/60/18 which is same size as stock 19s. But relocating the spare to the rear hatch is a much better solution since it's waaaay easier to get to and retains that badass offroad look

Hey suvowner,

My Cooper Zeon LTZs fit in the spare, but I wish I could have the swing-away spare tire carrier instead (or maybe both - haha). Getting rid of that spare tire underneath does increase access back there - I find myself scraping it off-road sometimes.

I was thinking of removing the spare tire when I go off-roading and sticking it on my Voyager rack, but I would imagine it's a pain in the a$$ to remove?

speaking of spares - would stock 19's with stock tire fit underneath? If so, I may want to change out the spare for that.

Hello LRFTQ,

Yes - absolutely! I immediately replaced my donut spare with a full-sized tire and it fits just fine. That bay is made to hold a full-sized tire. When I upgraded my tires to the 19" Cooper Zeon LTZs I got a fifth one and stowed it underneath.

When you got your 18" wheels, did you buy four or five?

I'm starting to sound like an advertisement for the Panamanian Land Rover dealer but the Discovery 4 in Panama comes with a full size 255/60 spare on an 18" rim (like the other 4). It is not an option, it's the standard configuration.
