Word of caution. I got cute buying a reman pump from rock auto and it lasted about 3000 miles before the bearing/seal **** the bed. Total garbage.
Good to know. Luckily my POS warranty covered mine when it went out too.
Its a POS warranty company called Guarantee VC, I was surprised too when they said they wouldn't cover the crossover pipe.
The upper crossover pipe is actually really easy to do. I think I bought an oem part from AutohausAZ.com, and did it myself. Just pop off your engine cover, depressurize your fuel lines (remove fuel pump fuse and run the engine till it almost dies and turn it off, forgot which number but it says so on the top part of the lid), remove the plastic intake between the mafs and throttle body, remove your upper fuel line from left to right, remove the bolts of the intake manifold, I don't think you have to remove the throttle body, lift the front of the manifold up (I hung it up with ratcheting tie down between the 2 hood latches), remove the 2 screws holding the upper crossover tube, replace the tube, and reverse the process to reinstall everything. At the end top it off with coolant and bleed it properly or else you'll run hot with air bubbles. I took my time on it and still took about 30-45 minutes to complete.
