A surprising number of people don't know that there are pullout cupholders at the rear bottom of the center console to serve the 2nd row passengers.

Or that when you fold all seats flat, the cargo cover can be stored/clipped into place in the gap between the 2nd and 3rd rows.

I actually found that in the owners manual that I read when I brought the LR4 home the first night. Yeah, I'm one of those that reads the manual (and the quick start, and the other thing that was in the book).

I'm the same way with every new car or complex gadget I get. My wife knows that I'll be out in the garage sitting in the car or in my office hunched over my new toys, learning and memorizing and practicing the use of as many features as my brain can hold.

People might just know this, but I certainly had no idea about it until I stumbled upon it recently. Below the A/C controls there is a pop-out tray that I use for storing change and what not. It is very well hidden. The rear panels in the trunk space on the sides are ideal for storing tow straps or jumper cables in bags. Another tip/trick that I like is using electrical tape to cover up all the check engine lights; saved me thousands of dollars over the years.
