Would appreciate your thoughts on this noise.

Just purchased this vehicle trough an auction with plans to use it as a weekend cruiser it has 300,000km on it. The Carfax which does not list chains as having been replaced in the service history. I listened to lots a online video 5 liters with failing chains and to me this sounds different to me. I also used the long screw driver stethoscope imitation method on the chain covers and although I can hear the chain clearly i don't hear the pronounced knocking that can be heard in the video. Additionally from the front of vehicle j can hardly hear an noise with the hood closed - the noise is most noticable right by the driver door.

And it's pretty impressive how well everything has aged on this vehicle. Aside from the mirror cameras everything still works as it should and it drives rock solid. I'm currently still battling a suspension issues which I believe is attributed to one of the height sensor but once that solved it should be a solid weekend cruiser.

My LR4 with 139k mi (~224k km) just after oil service, sounds almost the same.
Recorded after 2-3 mins after cold start at temperature 0°C (32°F):

In local service said its normal working sound but I ask some owners who change chain and they said that its not good (but not so bad) chain noise, here's example how its work after chain replacement:

That does sounds like an exact match to my engine sound. Have you replaced the chain quides on yours yet?

If it were the timing chain, I think it would definitely be louder with a stethoscope on the timing chain cover. OP said he could not hear it with the imitation stethoscope. That really seems to suggest it is something else.

I definitely hear a ticking in the OP’s video, and if you put a metronome next to it, the ticking seems to be right at the firing speed of a single cylinder (assuming about 600 rpm at idle, about 300 firings per minute). Maybe be a valve, maybe a manifold leak? Is the noise the same warm as cold?

With it not being front centered and very pronounced on side is what lead me to think it's not the chains. The noise seems to be about the same warm or cold. With maybe a slight increase on a warm engine.

It's defiently follows the rpm of engine and seems to better/worse at certain times.
