Does anyone else find themselves dropping a lot of things between the center console and the driver seat? (keys, cell phones, coins, cards, wallets, food, etc...)

It seems like if you drop something there, its out of sight! The gap is large and then it curves and kicks things just out of view. I'm usually doing the fingertip grab on things just hoping I don't push them under further. LOL

Kind of funny, and it used to be complicated by a wire tie on the side of the seat base frame that would always scratch me when I reached for something. It was a pain, but I finally realized I could just rotate the zip tie so that the sharp clipped off end didn't bother me. Pretty basic, but still annoying.

Not a deal breaker by any means, I just want to make sure I'm not a complete klutz! I can reach most of the fallen items from the back of the seat, but when I do I always find something I didn't expect... "A Cheese-It? When was the last time I had those in the car!?!"

YES! I have had this same problem. It is very difficult to get things that drop in the space between the driver's seat and the console. I dropped some french fries recently, and I had to get out my needle nose plyers to get them out.

Moral of the story: don't eat Mc D's while trying to drive your LR3!:stupid::hello:

I lost a friend's key to his mail box. Could not find it for 4 months. It eventually made it through all that jungle of sharp metal and wound up right between my legs. I can't wait to find out what comes out next.

LOL I have this exact same problem. I dropped my LR3 key fob while getting out of it and it slid into that exact same place. That was a joy to retrieve ugh!

Easy solution. You just haven't dropped enough stuff yet. Enough french fries, pens, coins and sooner or later it piles up and fills in the crevice completely. problem solved :)

Sure, however this is not exclusively an LR3 issue. This happens in all of my vehicles.

But in the LR3, the seats adjust so far up/down/fore/aft that it makes retrieval a relatively easy task.

I will be bringing some thing to the market to cure this issue.

Looking forward to it.

Is it a little land rover gnome that just hands the stuff back to you?
That would be nice. Creepy, sure...but very convenient.
