I'd love to, but will be out of town.

Lets set a date sometime and cruise up Old stage a while. It looks like if you continue west, you pop out onto Co Rd 81. Take it north to hwy 67, and hit hwy 24 at Divide. Might make a nice scenic loop. Maybe drop into woodland park for a late lunch, or dinner or something. We should start a new thread, but think of some open saturdays you have. We could even invite pikes peak rovers as well as any LR dealers in the area. I guess I don't want a huge group, but it'd be fun to have more than just two.

Agreed. Im new to the area so im just looking to see whats around.

I'd never bring a pistol to a rifle show! LOL  I actually did a Ice Racing AutoCross at Georgetown lake two weekends ago with the S4. That was pretty cool! All i gotta say is Snow tires really DO work! :)

just started to Autocross last summer with (get this) The Porsche Club! A buddy of mine has a '08 Porsche Carrear 4 and I like to head to the track with him. We head out High Planes Raceway and take advantage of actually driving on a real racetrack!

I See by your sig you have a C32 AMG! I bet you love that!

Awesome. I have only been up there to the Saran Wrap trailhead, and you could tell that maintenance had stopped before then, so who knows what we could run into. Know that we may end up turning around and coming back out the way we came and eating in Manitou. It'll be a family event, for those that want to bring them. I am hoping to get my wife to come along, but she's pretty far along in her pregnancy, so she may not want to be bumping down the road. Still that road isn't too rough.

I am in the Army at Ft. Carson, I just got here so I havent seen our schedule for training yet, but most weekends are free. I would like to do some sort of cruise or run with some local offroaders. I dont know much about the clubs in the area, and this is my first vehicle with more than a couple of inches of ground clearance.

I have been running sports sedans and autocross for a while though. Those events are a lot of fun. Looks like there is a pretty active SCCA following in the Denver/Springs area once I get my AMG out here I will be signing up for a few of those.

The family and I will be in Denver June 19-24 for a little vacation, interviewing, and house hunting. We're driving up from Orlando, stopping in Nashville, TN. and Junction City, KS. along the way, to visit family and friends. We'll hopefully be moved to Colorado this summer. We're currently looking at houses in the Thornton, Broomfield, Erie areas. We probably wont be doing any wheeling the week we're there but were all looking forward to getting out on the trails this fall!
