fast knocking sound
Are they pretty easy to change out? I heard that certain kinds of cv joints (the ones that screw on) can be hard to change. Mark -

OK, I do have a loud clunk sound when turning the wheel which most likely is the ball joints....But..... The 99 disco is also making a fast knockin sound when making a u turn or just turning sharp. Could this be the ball joints as well or something else? Thanks, Mark -

Fuel Pump?
It was the fuel pump... and the flippin thing would not come off. $850 spent at the LR dealership and its running again!!!! Im a little put off by the whole thing. Thinking about fixing a few more of its problems and selling it. I don't know, Its a love/hate relationship. Mark -
Fuel Pump?
Not much luck getting the lid off. I tried the strap wrench but the angle is all wrong. I just can't get a grip on it. Ive even tried using a big screw driver and a sledge. This thing will not budge! Any other sugestions? MD -
Fuel Pump?
I bought the pump and have remove the carpet, cover, fuel lines and elec hook ups. Having some trouble getting the securing ring off. I have a metal one with notches all around it. I have tapped firmly with a srewdriver and hammer all around the ring to free it up, but it will not budge. Im... -

Hey all.:hmpf: I went to crank the 99 diso and in wouldn't start. Its turning over just fine, just not getting gas, I think. I tried spraying starer fluid into the intake while turning over the engine and it fired up. Also, I tried changing the fuel filter, but no remedy there. I cannot hear...
