Did one side, no problem. The next side the plastic plugs rip the top off. Any help getting this out? They want to sink to the bottom of the hole.
Thx

I had the same thing happen to me. Pliers and xacto knife to scrape plugs out. Then, tap the threads to clean out the hole. In The 2013 model I have, the plugs were basically glued into the hole.

Thank for the help. I did the best I could clearing the holes. Ended up buying new M6 1.0-16mm bolts which are a hair shorter than the OEM. Worked well.

The OEMs are M6 1.0-20mm sized for anyone who needs to know.

Thanks
Sean

JangoSW, I posted my experience and solution a while back. Hopefully this is useful to you or the next guy who needs to remove the rail plugs;

As far as getting those out. It's now a mess, but try my method above (even with a broken off plug) rather than drilling it out. When I did that (drilling) it made a mess of the hole, I still didn't get it all out, and I needed to retap the threads.

Does anyone know where to find replacement bolts for the underside of the ditch?
