Alignment with Coopers...
Yes, the dealer or shop doing your alignment should put the truck into "tight tolerance" mode, prior to performing the alignment. Some shops actually outsource the alignments to a local shop, so you may ask your dealer if they do. -
2008 Pricing
You should be paying around 40k for a 08 HSE demo (1-5k miles) model generally speaking (depends on your locale, sales numbers etc.) If you can get it lower, it's a good deal, but if the price is too low, I'd start questioning it. -

Height Sensor Mod
Ironically, when I put on my new tires, the dealer checked to see if they would need to relocate the height sensors for me, at not cost to me :-) I thought that was pretty damn nice of them. -

Yup, no worries. I was indeed referring to the external temperature gauge. It will chime when the temperature reaches roughly 39-40F, and show a snowflake logo near the temperature. -

handling conering
I just drove up to 10k feet on switchbacks and very winding roads. Handled fine, although in the back seat passengers may experience a lil head toss, if you're in a hurry. Air Suspension was fine in the cold weather. It's definitely not a porsche etc, but handles quite well regardless. -
