Question for Zeon users.
I too am in Florida and drive 34k miles/yr on my zeons. My first pair lasted 38k miles with plenty of tread left but had cracking on my inner sidewalls. I rotate my tires myself every 5k miles. Sure my gas mileage has suffered, but I love these tires, get nothing but compliments from other rover... -

Faded exterior trim
I used Forever Black, 2-3 coats to coat evenly with a foam brush. Lasted a yr or so, I need to do it again but need every time its washed, the damn wheel shine splatters the excess on my trim before I make it home. Guess I need to either wash the car myself or remember to tell them to forget the... -

Largest tire size that will fit in Factory Spare Tire location
My zeon spare fits in the location and I still ise my reciever to tow. I did have to remove the exhaust shield and take a cutting disc to part of a bracket as discussed on this forum in the past. -

Oh crap....ive been rotating my tires every 5k miles but for some reason i was told front to back, back to front on same side. Guess i should reconsider this lol -

Dont get it replaced if you still live in FL...it will continue to do it. Was advised this by 2 dealerships and my close sales guy. Theyre seeing several 05-07 lr3 with this. I think the sports and now LR4 do not have this issue because of the thicker more luxurious dash pad. Mine started to... -

Dash cracking if its around the passenger airbag is very common in warm areas. But I agree the price is high. -

Yes they are to cover it. Look at their warranty page and its under premium warranty. I'll look in the morning for the rep i spoke with for the claim. They covered all 4 tires. -

Well...Kauffman tire refuses to credit me for mounting & balancing. And they refused to lift by the frame and instead under the control arms. Even after I pointed it out. -

Transfer Case & Differential Fluid Specification
Well i had serial #55441 on rear diff bit it had the hex plug instead of 3/8. Was i ok tightening it at 40ft lbs like it says for the hex plug or should i of stuck with 21 ft lbs as if it were the 3/8 plug? -

Bluetooth mic
Make sure one thing...dont have the volume on your end too loud. I do know that the mic picks up the slightest noise, people complain when Im on the highway or when I have my flashers or wipers on. I just think it echoes no matter what bc of the latge cockpit and glass roof. I seldom use it... -

Yes I do see about it being covered for m&b and spoke with the Cooper rep. I figured paying for m&b isnt that bad considering this shop is doing me a favor considering I bought the tires from treadepot. The shop insists that the one that blew would be a road hazard tire and not warrantied so... -

Yep same cracks as that picture. Went to local cooper dealer and they inspected the tires, have 8/32 still left and got Cooper on the phone and they authorized the replacement of 4 new tires and I just pay for mounting/balance. Just stinks I have to wait a week for the new tires to get here. Oh...
