RRC 3 spoke wheels on Disco 2

Where does it go connected?
I don't believe the wheel speed sensors need to be calibrated, I had a broken wire in one and spliced it together, it picked up right where it left off. Height sensors yes. -

Transmission "reverse gear ratio invalid" possible project
There a LR3 available on the loval FB marketplace with transmission problems, the seller says that reverse and third gears don't work and it returns a invalid reverse ratio trouble code. Vibration and grinding feeling
It sounds to me like the rear diff is going, it's what the wife's LR3 was doing. The symptom you have that she didn't was the vibration felt through the steering wheel. I replaced the diff and that fixed it. -

Suspension fault, not hearing the compressor turn on, jumper the relay?
I did find the problem, there was a melted connector in the pigtail between the vehicle harness and compressor motor. To me the connector on the motor side looks underspec for a 20+ amp load, those pins are really small. I cleaned the connector and used some DeOxit contact grease on it. What I... -

today it's a P0485 so that's sort of a new one. It goes days a ta time just fine and then bangs out another DTC. I'm stopping by the local church for some holy water, but not sure if I should put it in the radiator or apply it topically. -

sorry to revive this old thread but I an having trhe same troubles, P0116 and was having P0483 until I replaced the fan. So far it's the sensor in the T-Stat housing, fan and now fan relay. -

I think you should definitely investigate that wiring you mentioned. Since it works sometimes I would think it's correct, the flakiness makes me think the connections aren't what they could be. If they are butt splices without solder I'd think about soldering them correctly. -

P2135 curiousities
The bride's 2008 LR3 developed a P2135, which points to the throttle position sensor AKA gas pedal, so I swapped it from my 08 LR3 and the code follows, OK, butttttttt…. The bride's LR3 has always felt stronger off the line than mine. It's more enjoyable to drive as it reacts to the throttle... -

Whining from the engine Whats going on? What part do I need to replace?
Your engine is set up to scavenge and burn oil and crankcase vapors, removing the oil cap and dipstick allow unmetered air into the engine and cause the symptoms you describe, that is normal operation and not a problem, as long as you don't drive around like that! -

Hers was the A4, so it's a bit smaller, was getting less fun to get in and out of and the seats weren't as comfy as Rover seats. But that little bugger flies low, it's fast and fun. Oh, and likes to raid the pocketbook a lot. -
