Finding a Replacement Speaker
2000 discovery. Stock everything. My right top passenger door speaker is going out. I'm havin a heck of a time trying to find a replacement. ideas?- King_Richard

Really really slow at first???
actually i just got an idea. i really think it the fuel pump/fuel filter. because after a while it corrects it self. it it was teh chamshaft would it be bad and stay bad?- King_Richard

how do u check? is it something i can do or should i bring it to a mechanic. is it does need to be replaced how much would it cost. i think that makes sense because thats about where i hear the poping noise.- King_Richard

no we havent actually funny u bring that up. my dad bught me a fuel filter a while ago when we bought the car. it turns out it was the wrong kind. so you think we should change it?- King_Richard

do you think it could be because the head gaskets might be cracked? thats what ym mechanic and dad think? but i still ahve no clue really. it makes that poping kind of noise comming from the hood when it happens and isnt the fuel pump in the back of the car?- King_Richard

My 126,000 2000 disco has been nothin but problems since i've gotten it but i bought it knowing that. so far i've put in a new rad, put in a new water pump, thermostat, hoses, changed the battery, cleaned lots of stuff (wires etc.), got a new starter put in, cleaned the intake, got a tire fixed...- King_Richard

Performance Chip???

new plug wires and coil pack (distributor cap)
ok i got some of that sea foam and i put it in so we'll see of that help. i noticed that when my car is running there is bubbling going on around that plugs!?!? what does that mean????- King_Richard

my 2000 dico with 125,000 miles is reving high and sometimes after i start it takes a while for it to get going (like it revs rly low and doesnt go fater than abotu 10-15 miles per hour and then it kicks in to its normal revs of about 2.5 and runs at normal speeds) i put new plugs it it about a...- King_Richard

UHH! Ok so i took it to the shop and it needed a new starter. They put one in. It took a week for the new starter to get here to i was pretty happy when i finally got it back a couple days ago. Thanks a lot. I've tried to look for loose wires and corrosion but since its a Rover I don't have quite the skills to get to the starter and everything :) I'm getting it looked at this friday though so I am pretty excited. I love this beast.- King_Richard

my 2000 disco has 125,000 miles. i just bought it abotu a month ago knowing that there were leaking problems but i fixed those. other than that i doubt it has been tuned up recently. i did aslo, however, put in a new battery becasue the one i that came with it when i bought it was faulty. so...- King_Richard
