Price opinions

I hate when searching and people don't follow up. We're going to officially say it was just a crank sensor that caused all the misfires and no start. All is well in Roverland for now. -

If it's a frequent thing, put a spark tester on it. Or pull a plug wire when it's being moody and rule out a no spark issue. If you've always got spark, it's going to point you back to that pump. -

I don't know if I'd buy whatever is cheapest, unless you like replacing them all the time. There are some very cheap parts sold online, but they are cheap for a reason- they are junk. Go to www.rockauto.com and see if they have something that will fit your budget. -

I tried everything on the seat switch
It might take two people but get a voltmeter and see if the switch is sending any current to the motor. You'll have to find the wires for which direction you're using on the switch but some trial and error might show a current. I'd try it on the driver side when its working so you know you're... -

Ok, I got the oil changed. I did the compression test again and the #1 (cyl w/ the low reading last time) came back at about 151psi. The other cyls came back between 162-168psi. So, I guess I'm at least lessening the spread. Whats the most variance a healthy engine would have... -

DC, Please let me know if you have any success with this. My 2000 does this when its cold. Mine started after I was rear-ended. Now that its cold again I've been thinking about looking into it.
