little rubber hose DII

The other day my wife informed me that there was small rubber tube hanging out behind the rear pas-side wheel.

Its right below the fuel door and looks like it runs up that way but I can't tell where it goes. Its not the stiffer, molded one that goes from the filler neck to the gas tank. I thought maybe it was for the rear window washer but that still works.

I don't see anything that looks like it came off within reach.

Sorry that no one has responded... I know I am not sure what this hose is without seeing it, but it could be a vent hose for the fuel tank...

Could it be the wiring loom for the tow assembly?
