Ok... just pulled the existing plug out to have a look at wires. While I was at it, I looked at the "trailer wiring plug" that's found behind the passenger tail light assembly. It appears that the plug (the one behind the tail light) in my disco II has had several wires cut.... I hope that's... -

It's already got the factory wiring (at least I assume so, it's got a Land Rover logo on the cap). I think I'll be replacing the original one with the standard 7 blade RV receptacle. If anyone has access to a diagram that explains which wire is what, I'd love to see it. I'll be sure to... -

I've searched this topic, and have found many threads on wiring a trailer harness.... But haven't found any on where to find an adapter for the factory installed 7pin/prong receptacle that came on my 2000 DII. The generic 7pin adapter at the local parts store does not fit (big shocker there!)... -

In the bottom of the headlight assembly, in my 2000 DII, there is a itty bitty lightbulb. What the heck is it for, and how do I turn it on??? (Or is this something the PO added?? It is very similar to where you would find a strobe bulb in an emergency vehicle.) I searched the forum and... -
