00 disco II stops running when first started

00 Disco II 74,000 on disco 64,000 miles on engine

starts up with a cool engine temp and i put in reverse and engine shuts down after i give some gas

this does not happen when my engine temp is regular but in the mornings when the engine is not fully warmed up,

any help?

Clean the fuel system, check fuel pressure at the rail to make sure the pump is good.
