Hi,

Can anyone recommend things I can do to be proactive so I don't get hit with major repairs? I have a 99 Discovery II. I LOVE my Rover and want to keep it going as long as I can.

Thanks !

Not sure how long you've had the truck, so some of these might've been done already, but here's my suggested starting points. Others might think of more

Change:

Diff fluids
Tranny fluid
Radiator hoses
Vehicle Speed Sensor
Oxygen Sensors
Fuel Filter

Recore radiator

Also unless done in the last two years....

New Plugs/Wires

Not sure if the 99 had this issue or not, but If you still have the old black expansion tank for the radiator.... change it.

Check the Swivel preload and change the swivel grease.

Flush/change brake fluid.
