Everyone gets to go their own way. The main thing is to get smaller rims and bigger, better offroad tires on these fine vehicles. For me, LR3 18"s, black, on a green LR4 has completely changed the look, and attitude, of the Beast.

OP - your wheels look great!

yeah, may have been cheaper to buy a defender, swap the rims out, and resell the defender. Holy cow. That is commitment on the look on the part of OP.

Not sure about that...have you tried doing a Defender build? Mine quickly went over $80K.

Yes - V6 LR3 front and rear brakes. No discernable change in braking performance.

I am curious if anyone has tried LR3 V6 brakes on LR4.

My LR4 has much stronger braking power (stock) than my V8 HSE LR3 (stock). Going to the V6 LR3 brakes, adding a bunch of overlanding kit is asking for issues IMO. If you do go that route buy really really good V6 rotors/pads/stainless lines etc. Everything. Would be cool to see 17"s though.
