Every morning when the truck is cold, the trans does not want to shift out of 1st gear. After about the truck warms up, the trans shifts smooth up and down gear all day long, and does not slip.. The fluid looks great.. Any ideas? I'm wondering if it's a modulator of some sort, or i'm just got getting that much pressure.. i'v heard good things about the transmission seafoam.. worth a Try?

If you are full of transmission fluid, I would say it is a valve of some type that may be sticking.

Never used the transmission seafoam, but I don't think it would hurt.

Cool man, i'll go ahead and try that this weekend. I just don't think that it's the friction plates or anything major like that. At least i don't think?..
