Greetings everyone,
Just joined the forum today. We are looking at a 2007 RR Sport. We have a 19' Airstream (4500 GTW & 480 - 530# tongue Wt.). I went by the local dealer today to drive the model we are looking at and asked about using a weight distribution hitch on this vehicle..... got a bunch of deer caught in headlight looks from everyone from sales rep to parts guy & shop foreman !! The Airstream is well within the specs, but I am not so sure my Equal-izer hitch will work.
Can anyone help ? Is there an aftermarket Class III hitch that can be installed ?
Also, what about the brake controller for trailer brakes. Is it an easy install ?
