Give this a go.

If you’re still unsure which way to undo the fan. It’s the same direction that the engine rotates. “Effectively” the engine tightens the fan coupling while turning.

It's early morning so i may be asleep but it looks like he is going towards the left to remove?

That’s right. Just be careful and protect the radiator matrix when you remove the fan. The viscous coupling is heavier than it looks and it’s easy to damage the radiator fins.

I have these and they work on the 2013 V8 - left hand thread.
Watch which way you turn - depends on your year of course... NO supercharger it's a left hand thread, with supercharger it's a standard thread.

These are the tools as specified in the mechanics manual.
