Apparently the previous owner traded in for a new Grand Cherokee...o_O

Pros:
- MUCH better than the first one - 1 owner for 9 yrs and only roughly 10,000 miles/yr.
- Almost entirely serviced by one Land Rover dealer.
- the owner often got it serviced AHEAD of schedule which is a good sign.
- the water pump was already done which is a good thing.
- If the owner replaced it with a Jeep Grand Cherokee it's safe to say he's likely not an off-roader so that's also good if the truck only saw road miles and wasn't used/abused off-road.
- Overall, a clean CarFAX.

Potential issues:
- they did the 30K mile one twice and skipped the 60?
- looks like the 90K was not completed yet?

I bought my 2012 LR4 LUX with 93k miles for only $12k. 2 months ago. I hunted for about 5 months. It’s a one owner with every maintenance ever done by dealership. All I have had to do was put a set of tires on it and replace the brakes after I got it. I feel like if you are going to spend that kind of money hold out and find a much lower milage lr4. They exist you just have to hunt for it. Be patient.

i agree with everything Troy mentioned.

one additional detail i noticed is the strut in the photo is stamped with a 2017 manufacture date, but there is no mention of suspension service in the Carfax. its actually a good thing to know that the suspensions has been at least maintained, and parts replaced as needed.

Also, the carfax show it was maintained pretty much by the book which is a long oil change interval. since the 2011 is a big year for these failures, have the timing chain inspected by applying light pressure to it, through the oil fill hole, with a screwdriver (or other long handled tool) to see if its sloppy. this will give an idea how much life it has left.

Im located in the PNW and Expecting to use as only vehicle for off road expeditions and highway traveling. Ill be adding a few other mods for overlanding up here.

the super low mileage and early maintenance intervals is very nice on this one.

typically i say no to corporate cars, since they are usually not maintained or cared for very well, but this one seems to be an exception.

the only downside is you are in for an expensive service soon, at 75k.
oil change, diff fluid, transfer case fluid, air filters, and most likely water pump failure soon.
this can be about $250 and 4 hours of work in the driveway with proper tools. or probably close to $2000 at the dealer.

Either one of these cars should have the PCV valves replaced and transmission filter/pan changed. the second car due to age and mileage, the 3rd car due to age only.
