A week ago, the speakers on my Rover started to screech intermitantly and in varying pitches. Then the radio would kick back on. It happened again screechingm then radio, the screeching so I just turned off it off. The next time I started up I turned the radio on and it is just a low whining as if I am hearing the speakers "ready." It does not matter if I switch modes from radio, to CD, cassette, or to WB.
I took it to the dealer to just take a look at what they thought it might be. They unconclusively think it "might" be the amplifier.
Has any one else had something similar to this happen? Was it the amplifier? What, if anything, did you do to fix whatever the problem could be?
Any suggestions or info would be greatlyI am starting to talk to myself on my hour commutes to and from work.
