A/C Smells

Does anyone else have this problem? Everytime I turn on the ac I smell what appears to be an old air freshner smell that comes out of my vents. I have to start the truck and put the ac on full blast with the windows down so that the smell will go away quick. I bought the truck used from a Land Rover dealer and noticed the smell about a week ago. I have to bring it to them for a minor repair and wanted to seek advise before I bring it to them. If the smell was smoky or musty I would panic but this smell really drives me because I think someone put an air fresher in the ac but am not sure. Could this be a problem with my ac or something else. Any advice would help

Could be someone put an air freshener in the cabin air filter.

I have this same issue! smells musty in the morning for like two or three minutes. I hate it. I am going to go to our local LR Dealership to see if i cant get a new in cabin air filter and see if it helps. I read on here that there is one above the glove box and im thinking that possibly the prior owner to me didnt change it out so i figured i would give it a shot and see if it helps. Ill let ya know what it does for me. I know its one of those things that people never think to change!

Sadly this could also be a condensation issue from using the A/C and it not drying out properly. Hope for the air filter.
