I have similar problems with my ABS kicking in - it comes on when i am braking and going over a bump even in the dry - I suppose it is a loose
connection somewhere.

When I am sliding and the ABS comes on it doesnt seem to do much anyway except make a loud noice and vibrate the brake pedal.

Although not recomended I am sure, can someone tell me how to disable/disconnect the ABS braking?

I just thank LR for not putting ABS or the OBD sys. on my 93 D1. All that electrical crap would ruin the fun I have driving it.
