The amber light for the ABS system has recently come on. Dealer said system is intact and according to the code thrown a sensor needs to be replaced (?) to the tune of about $300.
While I like the ambiance of the amber romance light I think I would prefer it to go away. The problem is that I am cheep and don't want the dealer to take my money...
Is there a way to reset the light or at least disconnect it?

While I'm on the subject is there a way to reset the check engine light as well?

Thanks

Check engine light reset will require an OBDII code reader..

ABS sensor, could be dirty or just needs reseated. Could also be your brake fluid is very dirty.

I Can't find a good pic any where... if the front you will see a wire running down to the hubs.. follow it to the sensor. IIRC you can move it around or attempt to clean.

The rears should be the same way... again IIRC (If I Recall Correctly)
