Agreed they are a huge rip-off. However, most insurance companies will give you a discount for DRLs (which these are), so it will offset some of the cost. So there's that.

LED DRL Accent Lights

I Bought this weekend a 2011 LR4 LUX this weekend. It was brand new left over. Part of the deal I made was the Accent LED Lights for a really good deal. They do work for 2010 model on up by what Land Rover states. They had to order them in but I will post pictures of what they look like as soon as they are installed.

The LED Lights are in

I took some pictures of the install of the lights. You have to take off the bumper, cut out the holes from them, run the wiring into the center console & fuse box, and then tap into some wires. It wasn't all that bad to install, I own an Auto Body and Mechanic Shop near St Louis Missouri.
The lights are really bright but they turn off when the headlamps come on.

The LED lights actually look very cool. Though, it's unfortunate they shut off when the headlights go on - oh well, I guess they are just DRLs!

I wonder if anyone on the forum will install after-market lights?

I would definitely get them - but can't justify the $700+ for the Land Rover version. I am very curious who will find a different option aftermarket???
