I saw a wood dash kit for the LR3 on ebay for about 165. Anyone try one of them?? and is it really that easy to install??

Most inexpensive kits are just pieces that stick on top of the factory kits and to my eye that's what they look like, cheap bits of plastic stuck on on top. I don't know the kit you're talking about, but unless it actually replaces the pieces instead of just sticking on top I don't think it would look good.

I would agree-plus, the net result tends to cheapen the look of the interior-total opposite of the intended effect.

So where is a replacement kit available ?. Only thing keeping me undecided on LR is the cheap plastic feel inside. I would go with some brushed aluminum or may be better darker molded plastics . Sorry for hijacking the thread.
