Air Cond compressor noise

I have a. 2008 Range Rover HSE, The engine is very quiet and runs great, but a noise continually kicks in that sounds like the air conditioning compressor or maybe an electric fan. Land Rover says this is normal, but I did not have this with my last one. Any Ideas?

its common and normal due the type of compressor it is. trust me youll learn to live with it eventually
