I have been noticing a strong smell of anti-freeze in the cabin. This smell sometimes goes away after heating has been on for five minutes. However, after the engine has stopped the smell, comes back. I have checked interior for leaks and underneath car but no sign, also I have checked radiator and the expansion tank tank all of which appear fine. I am still looking for what is causing the anti-freeze smell.

Your heater core has probably failed and is leaking coolant. Replacing the heater core should fix your problem if that is the case. GOOD LUCK!
